Egenera® Control BladeTM ES Specifications
By hosting Egenera PAN ManagerTM software, the fully redundant Control Blades ES provide the hardware platform to manage BladeFrame® ES performance and functionality. Control Blades ES house a DVD drive, ports for laptop-based administration, and interfaces to external network and storage resources. Control Blade ES combines the functionality of the Control Blade and Switch BladeTM found in the BladeFrame EX platform.
