Summary:
The successful candidate will enhance and maintain Oracle 11i applications and 9i Database running on a Linux platform. The primary focus is to support implementation efforts of the Oracle 11i E-Business suite. Requires technical development, application implementation, enhancements, and customizations along with user support, maintenance and administration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide production support to Oracle Application users of OM, iexpense, AR, AP and GL.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues in AP, OM.
- Work with user community to understand requirements and develop accordingly
- Take design docs (MD050/MD070) and develop customizations/interfaces as requested
- Make report modifications, develop pls/sql packages, procedures and functions.
- Be able to do majority of application developer/sysadmin tasks of assigning responsibilities, creating concurrent programs and defining value sets/flexfields
- Provide data fixes/scripts for problems encountered by users on a daily basis
Qualifications:
- Minimum of B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of technical experience in Oracle 11i ( preferably 11.5.8+)
- Data model knowledge in AR, AP, GL, OM, IB. Preferably Oracle Configurator and iExpense integration to AP. JSP knowledge with respect to Oracle Apps highly desirable
- Development experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports including discoverer.
- Knowledge of coding standards to be followed in Oracle Apps environments.
- Strong understanding and custom development experience with multi-tier architectural software systems and system integration concepts
- Server concepts, some high-level network and Internet concepts and protocols, including J2EE and web
- Proficiency in all phases of an Application Software Development Life Cycle
- Requires solid analytical skills, strong interpersonal, technical writing and verbal communication skills. The candidate must have a strong development background performing Oracle 11i applications implementations, customizations, and enhancements with experience with a majority of the Oracle Applications Modules and Tools
